Goals of the Project:
  1. Document the conditions under which voters are casting ballots in PA and TX
  2. Collect stories from polling places in Texas and Pennsylvania
  3. Publish stories to the web
  4. Draw comparisons between states in terms of voter experiences and types of voting opportunities

Things to remember:
  • Be on your best behavior, using manners and professional language at all times
  • Make sure to let people know what you are doing and why you are doing it
  • Take your student ID so as to identify yourself if you are asked to do so
  • Partner up, you will still need separate stories, but a good idea to use the buddy system
  • Post the footage on the web
  • TAG EVERYTHING with the appropriate tag
    • TX= usvoting08tx
    • PA= usvoting08pa and slaush0809
  • Upload your best image or two. There will be quite a few students submitting all at once. We can always upload more in the days following the election.
